Marnie Quinn - owner + meditations, ceremonies, movement

FullSizeRender 2.jpg

Marnie always dreamed of living in NYC and working in Fashion.  She fulfilled that dream above and beyond any expectations.  But she realized that this dream was leaving her with an empty feeling and was no longer aligned with who she really was.  As her soul was calling her to do something different, deeper and with more meaning, she went within to uncover the next steps on her path.  She dove into her yoga & meditation practices.  She began on a shamanic path.  She uncovered the many layers of her being until she found her most authentic self.  Through this transformation (or remembering) process she had many healers, guides and classes to help her along the way.  Because of the powerful impact yoga, meditation, holistic health & nutrition, shamanic practices and healing modalities had on her she decided to open a center to give back what she had been given on her path to transformation.  (and as these things go she had a Dream that she opened a container for the people who would come in in need of healing, growth, transformation and were curious about The Great Mystery).

in 2015 Marnie was certified in Usui Ryoho Reiki.  In 2017 she became a Reiki Master Teacher.  In 2015, She studied with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies in Princeton, NJ, with the Q’ero and The Four Winds Society at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY and did a 10 day intense shamanic retreat with the Shipibo tribe in Peru. She also dove into Folk Herbalism.  In 2016 she became a certified holistic health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

Marnie has been dancing since the age of 2.  She was in ballet 3-5x a week until the age of 13 when she decided she wanted more freedom of expression where she moved to jazz dance, then modern & contemporary in high school and college.  She choreographed & instructed multiple color & winterguards each season from the years 1998 - 2005 when she returned to New York to pursue her fashion dreams.  but she never stopped dancing.  in new york when she could make time, she took classes most famously at the Joffrey School of Ballet & Alvin Ailey School of Dance.  in 2014 she finally went deep with a yoga practice that she had been dabbling in since college and hasn't turned back since.  Marnie knows how important self expression is through movement and how imperative it is to get deep into our bodies and listen to its language every day.  the physical vessel houses our soul and must be taken care of on this beautiful spiritual path.

Spiritual, Emotional, Intellectual.

"Marnie has always been an excellent mirror for me. I believe that the best people in our lives often help us grow through their own evolution and I have had the privilege to witness Marnie's progressive and authentic path.  Sound actionable tools rooted in a blend of advanced spiritual, emotional, and intellectual principles."

She helped me see....

"I am constantly grateful for my connection with Marnie. We crossed paths when I was at a very challenging point in my life. She helped me to see my situation in a different light and to approach it with confidence and calm. She has an amazing way of seeing the world and helping you approach difficult people or situations. I walk away from each conversation with her feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever life throws at me. It is hard to imagine not having her be a part of my life. I find myself bringing her up in conversations and sending friends who are looking for a positive conversation or a little direction her way frequently. "

Marnie helped me go deep inside myself...

“Marnie has helped me go deep inside myself, asking the important questions like, 'What do you love? What do you want to achieve? What are your strengths? Weaknesses? What are your goals? What kind of environment do you need?' All of us know the questions to ask, but very few of us know the next steps we need to take in order to close an old, rusty door and open a new, fresh one.
She walked me through the questions, the answers.
I am so grateful to her for all the energy, love and encouragement she gave me. I believe every single person, whether you are happily seated in your life or not, could benefit from her tremendous professionalism and heart. "

She strives to provide a space that is welcoming, safe, and empowering for students to experience the joy and well-being that the gift of yoga can bring to their lives.

Mishel Wolfe - Yoga & Reiki

Mishel began practicing yoga off and on 10 years ago when physical pain became immobilizing. She had many injuries, both physical and emotional, which surfaced in the body as severe pain. At first, she didn’t think that she would be able to do yoga because of the injuries and her body type. After finally committing to a regular practice, she realized that yoga is more about the internal journey to peace and self-love. Along the way she discovered that there are no “limitations,” only opportunities for growth.  Yoga is truly a practice for everyBODY.  Mishel decided to fulfill her dream of becoming a certified yoga instructor by receiving her Yoga Alliance RYT 200HR certification in 2017. She has used her experience as a college professor to tailor each of her yoga classes to the students in the room, making adjustments to the flow and offering modifications along the way. She strives to make her classes challenging, but approachable to all body types and physical abilities so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of this practice.

Mishel is also an energy worker and seeks to learn several more modalities to incorporate into body, mind, and spirit healing. She is a Master Level Usui Reki practitioner, intuitive healer, and Womb Keeper.

She believes that by combining energetic modalities with a regular yoga practice, people can learn how to heal themselves. (Also see Reiki Bio on Services Page)

Sydney Zwicker - Qoya

Sydney's path as a healer has been one of self-discovery, healing and empowerment. She is a Qoya teacher, a Yoni Crystals practitioner, and a certified Reiki master, with a background in integrative body therapy. As a Qoya teacher, Sydney believes that movement is medicine. Qoya is based on the idea that through movement we remember. In a Qoya class, we remember our essence, as wise, wild, and free. We do this by exploring the Wisdom of Yoga, the Wildness that comes in free movement and dance, and the Freedom that can be expressed through sensual/feminine movement in a safe circle. There is no 'one' way, nor 'right' way to heal. Every person is different. Sydney works with students using breath, the body, and intentional movement to feel what is working and to understand what may no longer serve each individual. Her intentions as a healer is to give students the tools to journey into wholeness. Her work is centralized around themes of intimacy, sensuality and intuitive self nourishment.

Kimmy Hidalgo - Yoga

Kimmy loves to share her smile with all those she meets. She moved from the Bay Area, in California in 2000, thinking she’d be here for a year, and 18 years later, calls Colorado her home. She has always loved anything with movement, like hiking, surfing, and teaching fitness classes, but around 2013, she started feeling a calling to go deeper in her spiritual practice.  In 2015, she received her RYT 200 hour and believes that teaching must come from the heart, with authenticity and truth. She always creates a welcoming and loving environment in all her classes and expresses the importance of living one's purpose. She likes to incorporate meditations in her yoga, because she’s learned, through her own practice, that meditating can help encourage growth of the physical and spiritual self.  Kimmy is also a Buti instructor as well as fitness instructor.  She loves seeing her students evolve and connect with the divine, that lives within us all. “Yoga means union. That is, you begin to experience the existence as yourself" ~Sadhguru

Asha Chhabildas - Yoga

Asha at the Park.jpg

Although Asha was formally introduced to physical yoga practices years earlier, it wasn’t until 2012 after the birth of her daughter, that a true devotion began. Like many working parents, Asha found herself trying to accomplish more within the same amount of time. However, she realized she was missing the tools needed to do so in a healthy way. After a period of intense sleep deprivation, she felt immediate relief from  yoga practice. Yoga helped rebalance and restore her nervous system and provided a gateway for honoring and developing her inner resources, and allowed her to reconnect with her authentic self.

A longtime student of psychology and the healing arts, it was natural that she would fall in love with studying the science and philosophy behind yoga. As she discovered that yoga practices house the potential for profound healing, spiritual awakening and personal transformation, she became passionate about sharing the tools of yoga and meditation with others.

Asha sees the role of teaching as a vehicle for building meaningful relationships and an opportunity to deepen her own experience of yoga. She currently teaches yoga in school settings, is a Take-a-Breath facilitator, and is also a volunteer with the Connection Coalition. Asha has studied yoga in Colorado, Florida and India, and has completed two Yoga Nidra certifications, Reiki 1, Reiki ll , and Master Level Reiki certifications in the Mikao Usui tradition, and a trauma informed yoga teacher training for youth. Asha became a 200-hour RYT through the Yoga Alliance after graduating from the Amrit Yoga Institute in July 2018. In addition to yoga, she also enjoys art, spending time outdoors, and making people laugh!

Cody is a Five-Element acupuncturist who has been passionate about Chinese martial and healing arts since he took his first classes in 2003.  He has since trained in several martial and healing styles, but has always come back to tai chi—deeply informed by Chinese medicine—as one of the best ways to cultivate energetic clarity, sensitivity, health, and subtle skill.

He offers his students clear, playful, and compassionate instruction with heavy emphasis on the fundamentals of posture, breath, mindfulness and sensitivity in tai chi movement.

Jessy Nicholson - Yoga

JessyNicholson Photo.jpeg

Jessy began her study of movement in 2009 through aerial dance.  She was drawn to the weightless motion and seamless flow that an aerial apparatus can offer the body.  She has been a student of the art for over 10 years in various forms.  Pole is where she found her passion for combining strength and elegance in shapes created by the body.  This journey lead her to yoga, where she took this passion one step further and was able to combine the strength and elegance of dance with a spiritual connection and devotional practice.  Her classes are intelligently crafted to be fluid and instinctual and will help you access grace in movement by tapping into your own internal rhythm. She is classically trained through Shiva Rae's lineage in Prana Vinyasa through the Samudra Global School of Living Yoga. She also holds a RYT 200hr certification from Samadhi School of Yoga.

Catherine McElveen - Kriya Yoga

Catherine found the path of yoga in 2012 when her anxiety became overwhelming. Passionate about natural health and mindfulness, she was determined to avoid pharmaceutical drugs to cope with her fear and pain. What started as a path of self-healing transformed her entire life.

After years of practicing Bikram and Vinyasa as a student, Catherine embarked on a transforming journey to India to study Sattva Yoga under master teacher Anand Mehrotra. Intensively studying kundalini and kriya yoga, vedic meditation, wisdom and breath work, Catherine saw her consciousness evolve radically and a new view of life form. Under the guidance of her guru, she learned ancient yogic techniques and wisdom that have remained guarded by the guru-student relationship for centuries. She is passionate about yoga as a path, a way of life, and a guiding thread throughout one's journey on earth. She sees an integrated, deep yoga practice as a tool for transformation, deep healing, and breaking free from the grip of the mind. Because it has so radically transformed her life, she loves to share these tools with others who are ready to begin the path of freedom.

Catherine's classes are kriya and kundalini based, with asana and meditation to balance and distribute energy.

Sue McCormick - Yoga

Sue first tried yoga in her mid-40’s when a yoga teacher came to her office and she immediately fell in love with it!  Her corporate job kept her sitting all day and she felt stiff and creaky most of the time. A regular yoga practice gave her back her flexibility and so much more. She loved it so much she is now an experienced yoga instructor with over 500 hours of training. She became a teacher in 2008, finished her 500 hour training in 2013 and has been teaching full time since 2012.  Sue combines fun with deep breathing and a variety of yoga styles, from restorative and yin yoga to hatha and vinyasa or flow yoga.  She believes yoga promotes positivity, health and well-being and keeps us young!
