The Ugly Ducking: Exploring our Relationship to Belonging

Exploring our relationship to Belonging

This circle is intended as a sanctuary to discuss and embody the power of the wild feminine.

One layer of the feminine being we so rarely explore is the feminine as a social creature. By sharing our stories we can to bear witness to the truth and experience of one another, we get to normalize these experiences. We will nourish our souls in circle, and in storytelling.

We are not alone, though at one point we have all felt loneliness or rejection. What is your relationship to Belonging?

With this month's theme of Belonging, we get to share each of our struggles in finding our tribe and expressing our true essence to our community.

Women Who Run with the Wolves is a classic in exploring our relationship to the wild, creative, feminine. In these 2 hr circles we will be able to share our relationship to each theme, and archetype not only through discussion but ALSO through movement.

Participants do not have to have read WWRWW to participate.

Women Who Run with the Wolves is an amazing resource, but it can be a little intimidating. This is a great opportunity for those women who wish to taste the power of this book or those who wish to explore deeper their relationship to it.

New to Qoya? NO PROBLEM!

Qoya is based on the idea that through movement, we remember.

We remember our essence as women is wise, wild and free.

Wise, wild and free also draw reference to the movement forms that we practice:

Wise: the wisdom of yoga
Wild: the creative expression in dance
Free: expanding our capacity to enjoy our bodies through sensual movement

In Qoya, imagine there is no way you can do it wrong and the way you know you're doing it right is when it feels good.

What if your life could follow the same rule?

Come as you are, Leave as MORE of who you are!
