Inversion Lab with guest Yogi Alyona

  • Ceremony 7269 Lowell Blvd Westminster, CO 80030 (map)

Do you want to learn how to press reset on your system?

Then, this is for you.

Headstand, in sanskrit, sirsasana, is nicknamed the king of all asana for good reason.  Practicing the posture daily has profound effects on the mind body and heart.

Standing on your head, doesn’t just look fun, it’s good for you.

A few benefits are:

* Release stress and mental chatter

* Increase your focus

* Tone the whole body

* Stimulate digestive fire and can raise metabolism*

* Bring fresh blood to the master glands in the brain and improves… everything ;)

* After headstand your facial skin has the ‘afterglow’

In this workshop you will learn what it takes to safely get into and stay in headstand.

We will work on coming up in to the shape from a variety of positions as well as staying in the shape for longer periods of time.  We will look into advanced variations of the posture and how to change in between Sirasana ABC.

If you have a very comfortable headstand practice you will learn what it takes to make it a lifelong practice and have plenty of variations to challenge you.

If you can’t get on your head yet,  you will learn how.
